About Leela
Leela is a somatic healing practitioner, bodyworker, grief tender, and contemplative movement facilitator with over 15 years experience working within the embodied healing arts.
Leela weaves together a diverse background as a bodyworker, therapist, energy worker, dancer, meditator, and yoga teacher to create spaces where people feel held and supported on their embodied healing journeys.
As a facilitator, Leela holds transformational and embodied groups and retreats, with a focus on contemplative practices, ecosomatics, and embodied aliveness.
Her work is rooted in an intersectional ecofeminist anti-oppressive framework of collective and personal liberation. Her practice is queer & trans friendly, anti-racist, and supportive of poly/ENM, kink, sex work, and body positivity.
In addition to being a somatic practitioner, Leela dabbles in performance arts, clown, and creative writing.
